After defeating the New York Jets today, the Colts will be headed to the 44th Superbowl. The Jets came out playing great defense as expected, but were not able to keep Peyton Manning from getting the ball in the end zone. Peyton Manning ended up throwing for 377 yards and 3 TDs. The Colts defense stopped the Jets running attack holding them to only 86 yards on the ground. Sanchez played pretty well throwing for 2 TDs but it wasn’t enough. The say defense wins championships and the team with the better defense won the game. Veteran field goal kicker Nate Kaeding missed 3 field goals for the Chargers. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers threw for 298 yards but had 2 interceptions. Jets Running Back Shonn Greene rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown.
