After a first quarter that was dominated by the Indianapolis Colts, the Saints finally started marching in. The tides turned when the Saints recovered an gutsy onside kick. Peyton Manning also ended up thowing a crucial interception in the 4th quarter that resulted in a Saints touchdown. Final Score: Saints 31 Colts 17
For the first time since 1993, the top seed in the AFC will play the top seed in the NFC in the Superbowl. The Indianapolis Colts are favored to win but most of America would probably like to see the New Orleans Saints win their first Superbowl. This has the the potential to be one of the highest scoring Superbowl games ever featuring two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. My prediction: Saints 31 Colts 27
The Saints march on due to a winning field goal kick in overtime. The Vikings fought hard but turnovers and penalties led to their demise. The New Orleans Saints are the NFC champions and advance to play the Indianapolis Colts in the Superbowl. This will be the first time the Saints have gone to the Superbowl. Final Score: Saints 31 Vikings 28
I expect this game to be a high scoring shootout. Both teams have explosive offenses and are capable of putting alot of points on the board. I favor the Vikings in this game because Favre is playing like he has something to prove and I like the ground game with Adrian Peterson. My prediction: Vikings 34 Saints 31
Defense wins championships and the Arizona Cardinals just did not have any as they gave up 45 points for the second straight week. The New Orleans Saints were too much for them and outscored them by 31 points. The Cardinals are deleted from the playoffs and the Saints move on to the NFC Championship. Final Score: Saints 45 Cardinals 14
I just finished watching the first quater of the Cardinals vs Saints game and I am amazed at the lack of defense for the Cardinals. I’ve never seen such poor tackling. Right now the Saints are up by a score of 21 to 7. Kurt Warner might have to throw 6 touchdown passes for the Cardinals to have a chance in this one.
