Ravens and Roger Goodell Turn Back on Ray Rice

The Baltimore Ravens showed support for Ray Rice early on when he was going through his ordeal with his domestic violence charges. That all changed today when a video surfaced showing Ray Rice punching his wife before they were married inside of a public elevator. Roger Goodell was catching the heat for only giving Ray Rice a 2 game suspension but that changed today as well when it was announced that Ray Rice will be suspended indefinitely. I mean it was already obvious that Ray Rice had hit her and knocked her out in the elevator so why the sudden

The NFL is back!!! Pro football is back!!! It is that time again to sit back, crack a beer, and watch some Thursday night football! If you haven’t gotten your fantasy football lineup set yet, I recommend you do so now. The Seattle Seahawks will be going against the Green Bay Packers to kick off the 2014 NFL season. Share this…

Reasons Why Michael Sam Was Cut By St. Louis Rams

Everyone wants to know the reasons why Michael Sam was cut by the St. Louis Rams. There is speculation that Michael Sam may have been cut by the St. Louis Rams because he is gay was attracting too much media attention. St. Louis Rams Coach Jeff Fisher says that the decision to cut Michael Sam was strictly a football decision and that he was pulling for him to make the team. Since getting cut from the St. Louis Rams, Michael Sam has publicly thanked the Rams for drafting him. Share this…

NFL’s First Openly Gay Dude Michael Sam Released by St. Louis Rams

Michael Sam, who is the NFL’s first openly gay dude, was released by the St. Louis Rams. Michael Sam became famous for being the first NFL player to openly admit living a gay homosexual lifestyle in the NFL. The St. Louis Rams drafted him this year but he did not make the 2014 roster and was released by the team. The following video is back before this year’s draft when Michael Sam did an interview talking about being gay and wanting to play in the NFL. Share this…

Interception Machines: Eli Manning and Matt Schaub

Who is the bigger interception generation machine: Eli Manning or Matt Schaub? Both Matt Schaub and Eli Manning have been horrible quarterbacks so far this season. Eli Manning is leading the league in interceptions while Matt Schaub has broken the record for pick 6 passes thrown in consecutive games. I would say Eli Manning has the better future because of his pedigree and Superbowl track record. Matt Schaub on the otherhand, has very little track record of success and his future may be in jeopardy if he continues to make stupid decisions in the pocket. The Houstion Texans game will

Broncos Beat Cowboys in Texas Shootout

In a fantasy football owners dream. the Denver Broncos defeated the Dallas Cowboys in a shootout in Texas. This high scoring game went right down to the wire. The Denver Broncos were able to take advantage of a Tony Romo interception and kicked the game winning field goal to win by a score of 51 to 48. Tony Romo threw for 515 yards and 5 TDs while Peyton Manning threw for 414 yards and had 4 TDs. The Broncos remain undefeated and are now 5 and 0. Share this…

What Are the Browns Thinking By Trading Trent Richardson?

The Cleveland Browns made news this week by trading their best player running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts gave up a first round draft choice in return for getting this talented young running back. Don’t expect much from the Browns this year as they now have no star players at all. They weren’t exactly winning with him anyway, but now they’ll be lucky if they can beat anybody this season. From a fantasy football standpoint however, the values of Trent Richardson and Andrew Luck will probably go up as he will be a great asset to

Manning Bowl 3: Eli Manning vs Peyton Manning

The two Manning brothers will be going at it for the third time today. Peyton Manning will be coming off of his record 7 TD pass performance of last week. Peyton Manning get the most respect across the league but Eli Manning has more Superbowl rings with two. The Manning Bowl 3 will be our pick for the game of the week to watch. Both the New York Giants and the Denver Broncos are loaded with talented wide receivers so I expect this to be an air show. Fantasy football owners should rack up lots of points in this one

Peyton Manning Throws 7 TD Passes in NFL Season Opener

Peyton Manning had an incredible game throwing 7 TD passes against the Superbowl Champion Baltimore Ravens defense. If you had any doubts that Peyton Manning is still one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, you are probably now a believer. The Baltimore Ravens led by Superbowl MVP quarterback Joe Flacco did not look so sharp however. Peyton Manning picked the Ravens secondary apart and the young group of defensive backs looked lost without the leadership of former Ravens safety Ed Reed. The game was close during the first half but Peyton Manning was able to open it up in

Football is Here!!!

Pro football is back as the Baltimore Ravens take on the Denver Broncos tonight in Denver. Due to a scheduling conflict with the Baltimore Orioles, the game will take place in Denver instead of Baltimore. The Ravens have several new faces since winning the Superbowl and Denver has added wide receiver Wes Welker to its arsenal of weapons. The last time these 2 teams met, the Ravens won in double OT 38 to 35. It was one of the best playoff games ever. Hopefully this matchup will live up to expectations tonight. Share this…
